Glossary

Over time, I'll add the terminology, and their abbreviations, that I use to describe the way I piece together my three-patterned approach....most, but not all of them, coined by me.A brief explanation is given where there is no appropriate post (and, therefore, no link) explaining the concept.

Appendix

Chop-To-Not (C2N)

Momo (MR)

Price Action (PA)- How price has reacted to various points on the chart. General movement of Price.

Pattern Fail (PF)- Failure of the momo- a pattern unto itself. Trades in the opposite direction to the failed pattern.

Prior Zone of Action (PZoA)- A ZoA that doesn't correspond to the current pattern in play.

Resistance (R)-Pivot highs (“V” pivots=stronger S/R), congestion zones, whole/half numbers, gaps, 3 waves, measured moves, trend channels, chop-to-not.

Support (S)- Pivot lows (“V” pivots=stronger S/R), congestion zones, whole/half numbers, gaps, 3 waves, measured moves, trend channels, chop-to-not.

The Worst Of Three (TWoT)

Zone of Action (ZoA)- One of the two trigger points of the momo. The main one being at the end of the third high/low of the pattern. The second is the break of the wedge formed by the momo.
